Earlier this week, news broke that the launch events for the Xiaomi 13 and iQOO 11 (both flagship smartphones from their respective brands) had been cancelled right before the launch date. While the companies had not confirmed why this was the case, the alleged reason was that it was out of respect for the sudden death of the former President, Jiang Zemin. At the time of cancelling the events, the companies had not revealed any information regarding the new launch date. However, now, they’ve stated that the two smartphones will launch on 8th December.
