Poco M4 Pro 5G has officially launched in Europe and will soon make its way to other regions as well. The Poco M4 Pro is the successor to the Poco M3 Pro which launched in India back in June as a budget smartphone. It was the first 5G phone by Poco to launch in India and we expect the company to follow it up with the M4 Pro.
The Poco M4 Pro is based on the Redmi Note 11 which launched in China a few weeks back save for the design, in that it has an extended camera module with the Poco branding. Here’s everything you need to know about the Poco M4 Pro.
Poco M4 Pro 5G specifications and priceThe Poco M4 Pro features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ (1920x1080 pixels) resolution display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a punch-hole notch cutout in the top-centre for the selfie camera and the screen is further topped with Gorilla Glass 3. The phone measures 8.8mm in thickness and weighs 195 grams.
The Poco M4 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip that has an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 GPU which is paired with upto 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion as well.
It has dual cameras on the back with a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with 119-degree FOV. The rear cameras can record in 1080p at 60FPS and on the front, we get a 16MP selfie camera.
The Poco M4 Pro also has stereo speakers and the power button doubles up as a fingerprint reader. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging that Poco claims can top up the battery from 0-100% in 59 minutes.
The Poco M4 Pro is priced starting at EUR 229 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and EUR 249 for the 6GB+128GB storage. This pegs the starting price of the phone to be roughly around Rs 19,500 by direct conversion.
